In a world full of mechanical wonder, fascinated by the speed and technology I am nothing more than

a simple wooden boat, I don't belong here among the wheels and spinning gears.

I have spent my whole existence among those who know where they are going, and exactly where they have been

I felt I was meant for something more, yet here is where I sit

I have spent my life dreaming of setting sail..open water to see something more than land.


The Wind blows, brings me back..whispering you'll never move, Ill say this, I know what water feels like

because I have been teased by the rain creating puddles. But move me, it does not. So I give up and

Take down my sail, to live my invisible existence.


How I long to leave the shore and be tossed by the waves.

See the moonlight on its surface how beautiful that would be.
